Dr. Jose Antonio Garcia Piña got his Dental Degree at the UPAEP, in
Puebla, Mexico and graduated with honors, after dental school he made an Externship in the OMFS program at the UTH University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He finished his OMS residence in 2013 in Mexico City in Hospital Regional Lic. Adolfo Lopez Mateos, ISSSTE graduated with honors. From 2013-2015 he made A fellowship in Rhino-Maxillofacial surgery at the medical school of the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) with complete dedication to nose and facial aesthetic surgery. Since 2015 he co-founded a fellowship course for Maxillofacial surgeons with a 1 year duration dedicated only to teach nose and facial aesthetic surgery having fellows from all Latin-America. In 2017 he spend some months in Sidney Australia with Dr. Paul Lloyd Getty Coceancig to learn Inter-Molar Mandibular Distraction Osteogenesis technique. Nowadays he is professor of Orthognathic surgery in the Orthodontic post-graduate course at UPAEP in Puebla, Mexico, professor of Rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery in the fellowship course at the medical school of UNAM and invited professor in the fellowship course of pediatric Maxillofacial and Craneofacial surgery at the Hospital del Niño
Morelense in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He is editor of the facial aesthetic surgery section in the Latin American Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
